Schwartz, University of Wisconsin\u2013Milwaukee, is well-known for his pioneering efforts\u2014beginning in the 1980s\u2014to bring the science of phenology into the modern era. He is also highly regarded as the editor of the book <em>Phenology: An Integrative Environmental Science<\/em>. The third edition of this book, published by <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/book\/10.1007\/978-3-031-75027-4\">Springer<\/a>, was recently released. Across 644 pages, the book&#8217;s 27 chapters span a wide range of topics.  You&#8217;ll see lab members&#8217; names on several of those chapters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Perry and Andrew wrote the chapter on <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/chapter\/10.1007\/978-3-031-75027-4_11\">Mesic Temperate Deciduous Forest Phenology<\/a>.
